In 2019, Bhattadev University has been established and provides undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate diploma programs. UG and PG courses in Assamese, Sanskrit, Assamese journalism, mass communication, and journalism are available at BU. At this university, admission to all courses is determined by merit. The University will soon begin offering a PhD degree as well.

Tongue Power Plant: Provide power backup. CCTV Monitoring: The entire university campus is subject to CCTV surveillance for security.
Admission Process: Admission to Bhattadev University is primarily merit-based, relying on the marks obtained in previous qualifying examinations. For some programs, particularly at the undergraduate level, a minimum percentage (e.g., 50% overall and 60% in the subject for Honours) in the 10+2 examination is required. Some seats are also filled through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The application process is generally online through the university's website or the SAMARTH portal.
